All November, we're celebrating what God has done through faithful giving and preparing for what He wants to do next. Each Sunday we'll explore another side of giving with purpose, building to our first fruits offering together on Impact Sunday.
What’s a first fruits offering?
A first fruits offering is a sacrificial gift. It’s the first and best of what God has given us, brought back to Him before anything else. In Nehemiah 10, God’s people recommitted themselves to Him by promising to bring “the firstfruits of our ground, and the firstfruits of all fruit of all trees, year by year, unto the house of the LORD” (Nehemiah 10:35, KJV).
Their giving was how they recommitted to God’s house. Ours is, too.
PREpare your yes!
Between now and November 22, pray about what God is asking you to bring. Your gift keeps the doors open, the ministry moving, and a seat ready for the next person who walks in.
