this is what we do!
Impacting Owings Mills, Baltimore & Beyond
We are gearing up for our Open Arms Outreach in February, and we are excited to serve our city in a powerful way. This outreach is all about meeting real needs, offering dignity, and showing love through action to those experiencing homelessness in our community.
As we prepare, we are asking our church family to begin collecting
Gently Used Luggage,
Warm Adult Clothing
Socks
Coats
Hats, and other cold-weather items
These items help individuals carry their belongings with dignity and stay warm during the winter months.
Stay connected through the Uproar Church App or follow us on Instagram for updates, drop-off information, and ways to get involved. Together, we can make February a month of hope, care, and connection for our city.

What We’ve Done!
-

MLK Day of Service
Community in motion! From cleaning and planting to connecting with neighbors, MLK Day was a day of service, teamwork, and spreading love throughout Baltimore.
-

Open Arms Outreach
Homeless neighbors were met with warmth and dignity as blankets, clothing, and essential care were shared. But the real difference came in the smiles and the moments of genuine connection between volunteers and those we served.
-

Gas Giveaways
Fuel wasn’t the only thing flowing — so were conversations and smiles. Volunteers pumped gas while lifting spirits, reminding families that kindness fills hearts just as much as it fills tanks.
-

Human Trafficking
A day of play, support, and real care unfolded at Mount Clare. Children laughed, families connected, and women facing the hardest battles were met with loving support, prayer, and hope for tomorrow.
-

Day of Hope
What began as a day marked by loss turned into a moment of shared compassion. We brought meals, care, and open hearts to Brooklyn Homes, offering space to grieve, to pray, and to find strength together.
-

Block Parties
Music, games, and food brought joy to the block — and the real story was the hearts that connected. Parents accessed resources, kids played freely, and neighbors experienced community in a fresh, uplifting way.
-

Backpack Giveaway
School‑ready and stress‑free! Children walked away with backpacks stocked for success, and parents breathed easier knowing their kids had what they needed to begin the school year with confidence.
-
Thanksgiving
Tables weren’t just filled with turkey — they were filled with connection, laughter, and community. Families across neighborhoods came together to share a meal and experience the warmth of being truly seen and remembered.
-
Christmas
Joy was wrapped up in every gift! Children lit up with excitement as toys were handed out, and families felt the love of a community determined to make Christmas brighter for every child.
